GEAUX FEED ATL RECAP

A RECAP MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER:

WOW. I was truly blessed at the Atlanta feeding day. ATL is my home. It is where I was born and raised. It just did not feel right to be in the place that I know and love and not host a feeding day. ATL IS MY COMMUNITY AND THE PLACE THAT HAS GIVEN SO MUCH TO MY FAMILY AND I.

Geaux Feed was able to feed almost 175 people and we were able to supply winter clothing and blankets to many families. I want to give a special thanks to Hosea Feed the Hungry for supplying us with most of the food and supplies. I will also like to give a special thank you to our local donors who gave a total of $120 for additional supplies and food.

I will also like to thank GO.SEE.DO.LOVE for collaborating with GFP and setting up their clothing drive next to our station. I am truly excited to see where Geaux Feed will go and what we will accomplish in 2016. THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS THAT SIGNED UP TO VOLUNTEER.

GEAUX FEED:New Orleans

                Recap

Geaux Feed New Orleans was a very special experience for GFP. The people of New Orleans bring a special sense of community and humility that I have never experienced in any other city. New Orleans feeding day reminded us of how important it is to fight for what is right for the underrepresented and unheard communitues. the people received us an overwheming amount of love and appreciation. the love overflowed into their hearts and ours. This feeding day was also special for 6 high school students from broadmoor high school in baton rouge,la. these ladies joined us for their first community service project with our fouder's other organization, girls today...ladies tomorrow. We fed about 150 people and we were able to set-up an official location for future feeding days. we were able to provide the people of new orleans with a nice coney style meal that featured coney style hot dogs, baked beans, chips, king cake and other sweet treats. thank you new orleans and we cannot wait to come back soon!
